We have also introduced a Montessori Inspired Living program involving all our staff, residents, and resident families. Friends House has been awarded a Bronze Level facility credential from the Center for Applied Research in Dementia (CARD).
As a respected center of health and a trusted senior living resource for older adults around Montgomery County and beyond, Friends House is able to provide an excellent can [need to write this out] training program as well as exciting internship opportunities to students and volunteers. With over three years of experience in the field, Thi embodies the spirit of dedication and joy in service that makes Friends House a truly special place to be a part of.
Thi, who finds personal inspiration in the resilience and spirit of her niece, lives by the motto: “Never give up on your dreams.” This philosophy shines through in her everyday interactions as she prepares and serves meals, bringing smiles to the faces of all she serves. Thi’s favorite part of her role is seeing the joy on residents’ faces as they enjoy their meals, a testament to the heart and soul she pours into her work.
Her most fulfilling moments come from the care and appreciation shown by residents and their families, creating a deeply rewarding exchange that goes beyond mere job satisfaction. Thi is grateful for the opportunity to help and support everyone around her, truly embodying the community spirit of Friends House.
Outside of work, Thi’s passion for cooking continues. She brings the same enthusiasm and creativity to her culinary pursuits as she does to her role at Friends House, further enriching her connection to others through the universal joy of food.
