The care my sister received was AWESOME! She had a terminal illness and was kept clean, up out of bed, dressed and socially engaged as long as possible. The CNAs, nurses, caretakers were kind and caring … I would recommend to anyone living in the area to consider Friends House.

This is without a doubt one of the finest facilities a person could ask for. They have everything you need to exist. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. The restaurant facilities are outstanding. And maintenance is always there when needed.

Our family has had a mom, two aunts, and now another aunt living at Friends House in different stages of care. This is an amazing place, and the care is exceptional.

Living very far away, it is so comforting to know that my mother has the high-quality care of their skilled nursing facility, as well as the support of the community. I love to visit and always make new friends amongst the residents. So many interesting, engaged elders.

The grounds are lovely (fruit orchards), and it has great apartment living for independent living Low key, casual laid back living in a great location.

Giving Back to Our Mothers, Fathers & Grandparents Is the Gift You Give Yourself

Friends House believes in fostering a generous community that gives freely and compassionately to our elders and those in need – whether that’s a volunteer with a gift of time or effort … or a local partner helping organize an event … or a resident or employee of Friends House. The town of Sandy Spring, Maryland, has always been a community that provides for neighbors and friends – and we seek to continue that tradition for Friends House seniors and others throughout Montgomery County.
