This Montgomery County–sponsored program offers practical insight into dementia, including how to recognize common signs and understand changes in memory, behavior, and communication.

Participants will gain practical ways to interact with and support individuals experiencing cognitive changes, whether as a caregiver, family member, or part of the community.

You’ll leave with simple, real-world approaches that can make everyday interactions more comfortable, respectful, and supportive for everyone involved.

• Older adults who want to better understand dementia

• Community members who want to be more informed

• Anyone interested in creating a more supportive, dementia-friendly community

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
